Our Story
Tribal was born from a simple idea — that the most memorable meals are rooted in place. Perched on the white sands of Kilifi Beach, our kitchen draws from the Mijikenda coastline, the traders of the Swahili port, and the open-fire traditions that have fed this coast for generations.
Every plate is an offering: produce from nearby farms, fish hauled in at dawn, spices blended in-house.
The setting is its own reason to come. Tucked among the palms a short walk from the sand, the room opens to the sound of the waves and glimpses of the Indian Ocean through the trees. As the evening light softens, it becomes the kind of place you settle into and don’t rush to leave — comfortable, quietly luxurious, and easy to lose a few hours in over good food and good company.
